Greg built and lost it all. After the collapse of his business and marriage, he had to rebuild from scratch. That painful fall taught him a truth most owners only discover too late: success without freedom isn't really success. Out of that season, Greg developed the Triple Freedom Framework™ — a way to align business performance, financial planning, and personal clarity so owners can design freedom in before it's too late.
Cara's Story
Cara watched her father go from being a "Who's Who" in their community to a "Who's that?" when a big-box store forced him out of business. Though financially stable, the loss of identity and purpose devastated him — and rippled through their family. Cara's mission is to help owners avoid that painful void by building clarity and purpose into their lives before an exit.
We met serving on the board at the Exit Planning Institute, Chicago Chapter. Greg saw how Cara's work filled the missing piece in his framework: personal freedom. Together we asked: what if owners didn't have to wait until "someday" to connect all three?
So we tested it. The results were powerful — and owners wanted one more thing: for the personal planning to be directly tied to their businesses. That was our "aha" moment. The OptionBuilt™ Collective was born.
